1. Avoid stains because they can be difficult to remove from the sensitive fabric. If there is a light stain, cover the blot with a piece of moist cloth and then iron. The cloth can absorb some dust.
2. Avoid coming contact with rough or sharp objects because they can hook the fine weave and cause dulling or frayed threads.
3. Do not roll up the (long) sleeves because that can cause creasing and stretching.
4. Gently hand-wash (for silk) or dry clean (for brocade satin) according to instructions. Do not use chlorine bleach.
5. During ironing, put a white damp cloth between the iron and the dress to prevent softening and color change.
6. After washing and ironing, hang it to cool and dry fully.
7. Do not fold while storing. Hang it up on a a wide hanger.
